GOD

The Attributes of God   (31 KB)
These papers prepared by AW Pink on the Attributes of God appeared first in the authorís monthly magazine "Studies in the Scriptures," which was devoted entirely to the expounding of Godís Word and a seeking to provide spiritual food for hungry souls.

The 3 main Absolutes of God   (43 KB)
Omnipotence- He has the power to do anything He desires,

Omnipresence - He is in all places, all the time,

Omniscience - He knows all things.

God's Salvific and Common Graces   (58 KB)
Common Grace (or a better term Ordinary Grace) is a theological concept in Reformed Christianity referring to the grace of God that is given to all humankind. It is "common" because its benefits are experienced by the whole human race without distinction between one person and another. It is "grace" because it is undeserved and sovereignly bestowed by God to be distinguished from the understanding of "special" or "saving" grace, which extends only to those whom God has chosen to redeem.

Special Grace (or a better term Salvific Grace) is the super grace by which God redeems, sanctifies, and glorifies his people. Unlike ordinary grace, which is universally given, special salvific grace is bestowed only on those whom God elects to eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. (Act 13:48)

Does God Changes His Plans?   (62 KB)
In these evolutionistic days there are concentrated effort by the ever increasing ungodly centres of unbelief such as Open Theism and Higher Criticism raging in both philosophical and liberal theological circles wanting to prove that the Bible is inconsistent with itself, thus negating its veracity and consequently doing away with Almighty God to be replaced with a god of our own making.

The Church of God   (57 KB)
There is one true Church, but it is not visible as a single entity and it is not found in a certain church/denomination or group by itself. It is found in the heart of all those who are in Christ Jesus as chosen by God, and have come to God through Christís atoning sacrifice on the cross. No church can claim to be the "true" church, for the Church of Christ is the assembly of ALL believers wherever they are. The Church transcends denominational barriers; it exists within denominations, as well as outside of them. This is the Universal TRUE Church that has continued from the beginning of Pentecost and will go on until the end. It is Christ that builds His church, not man: "I will build my Church" (Mat 16:18)

Who is God?   (64 KB)
Judaism, Christianity and Islam view God as a personal God, a being who created the worlds and rules over the universe. God is usually held to have the properties of holiness (separate from sin and incorruptible), justness (fair, right, and true in all His judgments), sovereignty (His will cannot be thwarted), omnipotence (all-powerful), omniscience (all-knowing), omnipresence (present everywhere at the same time), omni benevolence (all-loving), and immortality (eternal and everlasting). He is also believed to be transcendent, meaning that He is outside space and outside time, and therefore eternal and unable to be changed by earthly forces or anything else within His creation. The will of Man cannot change Godís will. Nor can he frustrate His purposes, in any way. (Dan 4:35)

GOD IS   (54 KB)
In these modern times our western society has lost the "fear of God" and carries on its miserable life as if God did not exist, and even those that have a smear of belief think of and treat God as if He were a "father Christmas" whose only purpose is to please manís whims.
