  A PURITAN'S MIND
The Puritan era has been the most godly and pious age since the birth of the early church and the apostles.  The wealth of knowledge He poured upon the Puritan divines to exegete and apply the Scriptures to the lives of men is unsurpassed.  When the regenerated Christian mind is filtered by the writings of the Puritans, he cannot but come away with A Puritan's Mind. Here theology and practice meet hand in hand. "Theology is doctrine or teaching of living to God."  It is "the science of living blessedly forever."  Theology is not merely doctrine or teaching.  Theology is doctrine or teaching of living to God - theology put to practice.  It is the life which comes by Christ alone, given to undeserving sinners by faith, so they may regain the opportunity to glorify God in His love and mercy.  It is only here (where theology and practice meet) that he is able to come into a deeper and more intimate knowledge of the Saviour, Jesus Christ. The Puritans desired to see men strive after theology put into practice.  And it is my hope, that as you read the literature and information on this web site, that you too would leave here with a taste for Biblical Theology presented by  A Puritan's mind.

 21st Century Puritanism
Puritan: one who seeks a purer, more Biblical form of life, doctrine and worship

Whereas modern religion often glorifies man,

the religion of the Bible glorifies our sovereign God,

who is most blessed and glorious in all His ways.

Christian Web Ministry
This worthwhile web ministry is split into the following areas:

Inspirational,
Biblical studies and Beliefs;
Inspirational;

Biblical studies and Beliefs.

Well worth to be visited

  Christian Web Ministry
This web ministry is split the into the following areas: 'Inspirational', which includes thought provoking Christian commentaries & a few poems;
Biblical studies and Beliefs;
and a section containing general information.

  Inspirational includes thoughts concerning my previous lifestyle, things I see going on in the world and some (poetry?), I have written. The tool, that the Holy Spirit had to work with, namely me, limits the quality. All sections will be updated from time to time as the Spirit leads me on my Christian journey Home.

  Biblical studies and Beliefs, lists areas I have been guided to study and my resulting beliefs. While you may not agree with my beliefs and conclusions, I pray that you will be prompted to study Scripture. God speaks to His children through Holy Scripture

  PressieChurch.org - Australian Home of Covenant Theology
"In biblical theology the principle is one of historical, in systematic theology it is one of logical construction. Biblical theology draws a line of development. Systematic theology draws a circle.

 Still, it should be remembered that on the line of historical progress there is at several points already a beginning of correlation among the elements of truth in which the beginnings of the sytematising process can be discerned."

  Monergism
To equip Christians in the truth by making available the finest classic articles and resources of historical orthodoxy. This is done in the hope that the church will embrace, and recover the true Biblical doctrines of the historic faith.

  Centre for Reformed THEOLOGY and APOLOGETICS
The Center for Reformed Theology and Apologetics (CRTA) is dedicated to providing biblically sound online resources for the edification of God's people. The Center is committed to the system of doctrine known as Calvinism, which we see to be the most biblically faithful systematisation of the Bible's teachings. The Owner is a Reformed Christian committed to a strict subscriptionist view of the Westminster Standards, yet many of the articles on this site represent a wider view of the Faith. Please use discretion in all that you read here -- and everywhere else too.

  CHRISTIAN APOLOGETICS & RESEARCH MINISTRY

     CARM is 501(c)3 non-profit, Internet based ministry with three main goals:

  1. Equip Christians in the truth

    CARM does this by providing information on Christian Doctrine, theology, evangelism, and other subjects.  The goal is to present an accurate and biblical representation of Christian truth.

  2. Answer opposition to the Christian faith

    CARM does this by documenting the beliefs of cult groups, aberrant religious groups, and alternative religious systems and compares them to biblical revelation.

  3. Bring glory and honor to the name of Jesus

    CARM does this by presenting the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ....

  The Hall of Church History
FRIEND who noticed my reading habits asked, "Why would anyone want to study theology by reading A Bunch of Dead Guys? Shouldn't you focus mostly on current works, or risk becoming an irrelevant theological fossil?".  My answer: the truth about God is timeless. The last infallible book of theology was written nearly two thousand years ago. In theology, if it's new, it probably isn't true.  The best of the men featured here knew that. Though they are dead, they still speak (cf. Heb 11:4). Scripture was their supreme rule of faith. Their theological line of descent is clearly traceable from the Reformers, to Augustine, to the Apostle Paul, to Isaiah, to Abraham—all the way back to the first promise God made to Adam in the Garden (Gen 3:15).

  Monash Christian Fellowship
Monash Christian Fellowship has a HELPS tag with cartoon illustrated articles suitable for university students with no Bible knowledge.  They clearly present Biblical salvation.  There is also an excellent downloadable tract (see SATISFACTION article on same page)to help bring loyal Roman Catholics to salvation in Jesus Christ.

  Top Bible Colleges Online
Bible colleges are now offering online degrees, making it convenient for working parents or those who work full-time to take on a degree studying theology. There are many types of certificates and degrees one can obtain in bible college. Unless you're working at the university level, most ministry positions do not require formal education of any sort. There's the obvious need to feel connected to your religion and study it intently, but there are not usually degrees involved in becoming a minister or working for a local church.

 Best Masters of Divinity
When it comes to academic study in the field of theology, it is important to understand that a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) is the first level of professional degree needed if you are interested in a pastoral career, or another career path available with such a degree. Many religious organizations require this degree in order to be ordained as a priest, pastor, or other appointment, ordination, or licensing in the field of professional ministry.
