BIBLE Books Abbreviation (whole Bible)To make a useful, consistent abbreviation, easy to remember and to "guess" EACH book is represented by its first 3 Alphanumerics (spaces excluded). The only exceptions are:
Philemon that conflicts with Philippians; Philemon is represented as Phm and Philippians as Phi
Judges conflicts with Jude; Judges is represents as Jdg and Jude as Jud. Beside those, the books can be typed fully or in parts (no less than 3 letters), as long as the alphanumeric sequence is correct. (Empty space is not used for abbreviations). The abbreviation can be written as: GEN or Gen 1CO or 1Co (no full stop following).
