Calvary greeting in Jesus Name.

Greetings to you as well and thank you for the contact, and I do take your heart as sincere.

How is the ministry and your faith?

My faith is well, thanks to God, and my ministry is in line with the Lord as He grants increase, praise God in the highest, so help me God.

Please Sir, let me use this opportunity to request from your office explanations of some critical doctrines (believes) that are causing disunity among Christians faith.

Bro Victory, here we need to preface my answers with some fundamental statements:

  1. Disunity is a word much branded about these days. The Lord Jesus in his priestly prayer asked the father that His disciples may be one as He was with the Father. He prayed that prayer for His disciples and for those that would follow in their footsteps, not for anyone else.

  2. Today, not all that claim to be "Christians" are indeed Christians. With those we must be in disunity. Unity is to be had only with those that are Christís disciples, for real.

  3. Todayís Christian culture is indistinguishable from the world, are we to be in unity with those?

  4. If we are true disciples of Christ, how can we possibly have fellowship with those that promote homosexuals to the pulpit and into ministries when both OT and NT clearly and strongly forbid such a sinful practice, saying that such people will not enter in the kingdom of Heaven? How can we have unity with those and still call ourselves disciples of Christ?

  5. Unity is surely important, but first we all must be slaves (doulos) of the Same Lord for there cannot be fellowship between the disciples of Christ and those of Belial.

  6. Who is then a Christian? Those who are slaves of Christ and do His will as written in His Word, without changes, modifications, adding or subtracting anything.

  7. A Christian lives only for the glory of God: "Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men."

Such doctrines like- perming of hair, used of attachment, women uncovered hair in the church, girls wearing trousers in the church, infant baptism, knowing the will of God in marriage, wearing of ornament, painting of nail, lip, and so on.

We have here 3 items:

1. Concerning women vanity,

2. Marriage,

3. Infant baptism.

Concerning women vanity:

All these vanities that women do in our secular and heathen societies is exactly what we see in our women in the church. There is no difference between us and the world, so our witness is zero. Besides all these shows have a sexual basis, nothing doing with the glory of God, but to make oneself more sexually attractive. This is strongly condemned by God: "9 ∂ In like manner, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefastness and sobriety; not with braided hair, and gold or pearls or costly raiment; 10 but (which becometh women professing godliness) through good works. (1 Timothy 2:9-10)" see also 1Pe 3:3-6.

So, women that go about adorned with painted faces and adorned with sexually attractive ornaments are simply displaying the state of their hearts, rebellious to God and to man. We are not to have unity with those women, for their displays proves that they are not true disciples of the Lord, for if they were so, they would dress up as God commands. But todayís weak men have had their spiritual strength dulled by this evil society and say nothing about it, or are confused, or even approve. We shall do well in this case to have Ė no unity.

Regarding the wearing of pants for woman it is a full identification with this rebellious society and its feminism (wearing pants anywhere for women, not only in the church, but everywhere, for the whole earth is Godís). God made them male and female with a clear difference between them. "A woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a womanís garment; for whosoever doeth these things is an abomination unto Jehovah thy God. (Deuteronomy 22:5)" This mean that the man has to dress one way and the woman another, NO mixing. It does not mean the man has to wear pants, but must not wear what the woman is wearing and vice versa, that is: if man were to wear skirts and the woman pants, it would be OK, as long as this is always so. It is the mixing that is forbidden, for one is male and the other is female, no unisex allowed (or homosexuals, nor lesbians). Do note also that those who mix, are themselves an "abomination" to God. A serious thing indeed.

Marriage:

I am not sure in what context you bring up this idea. But it is the will of God that most shall marry and produce children. Only a few have the gift of celibacy. Paul restraint on marriage was because of the distressing time in which he was writing, but the general rule is to marry, for He made them: male and female.

Infant Baptism.

People have killed themselves over this issue, sadly.
Baptism is like the Sabbath: the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. Baptism is not for Salvation, but Baptism testifies that one is Saved. Obviously this is not possible for infants. However, what you do for infants of believers??

Baptism of infants is not for Salvation, nor it testify their Salvation, but it simply means that they are partakers of the benefits that God grants to His family on earth. In time they need to profess their Salvation publicly, if God so grants.

In Evangelical circles, in order to give the children some status, a ceremony has been introduced (not called for in the Bible) to "present" the child to the community with the parents committing themselves to bring up the child in the admonition of the Lord. Personally I do not have problems with either procedure, but would favour a full immersion baptism, with profession of belief, to be in line with; "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Romans 6:4)".

Sir, my heart is sincere to know from your office believing that the grace and understanding of God is on you.

I believe your heart is sincere and I have answered you in like manner. My answer has been kept purposely short for if we have a kin heart, it will suffice.

Please feel free to contact me anytime.

The Grace and Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with you.
