Email FeedbackGrace & Peace to you! I just found you on line. I am curious as to which denomination you are? Are you all Presbyterian/Puritan? Thank you for your response. Cindye Coates Pastor Cindye Coates M.Div
Hello Pastor Cindye Coates; Master of Divinity, Grace & Peace to you too and thanks for such a lovely e-mail. You wish to know a little about my background! Well here it is: Wanting a doctrinal name?? ,then: Reformed, Calvinist, Fundamentalist, Puritan with a pinch of Pentecostal. Strange ecclesiastical beast, methinks. Denomination, none really, it is only little me, I just consider myself an unworthy disciple of my Lord Jesus Christ. If the Lord grants me to have a church, I think to call it: "The First Calvinist Pentecostal Church". I am an Italian born Australian of about 60 Migrated to Australia at 23, became an engineer and lived there for about 30 years. Paradise on earth. The Lord forcibly converted me at 40 from total unbelief, praise Him forever My wife left the 3 kids and me when I became a Christian. Worshipped in a Pentecostal church for about 10 years: Glen Waverley Christian Fellowship at Melbourne. Very happy there, except doctrinally. (Arminian doctrine) Did a lot of personal study on Christianity Returned in Italy in 1994, truly a Satanic and a Pagan country. Hell on earth methinks. Found the few and bickering churches here practically all Arminian, so in October 2002 I set up my own site to express liberally what I believe the Lord has given me. I do worship at a local church of 30 and they tolerate me preaching frequently, as long as I tone down my Calvinism and do not preach about women. One daughter is the wife of a Swiss pastor missionaries to France (5 kids) Another daughter is missionary in Dublin.
The love of my Lord Jesus be with you. aymon de albatrus
I appreciate your time to reply. I'm sorry to "hear" such a report regarding Italy. I will place that country on our prayer list beside France! I somehow found your web site while doing research for my Biblical World View Class that I teach to high school students every Monday. I sensed a strong Puritan flavour in your articles- thus the question. I probably have an equally varied background which includes Quaker and Jewish! I have always seen equality and grace to all as a doctrine taught by Jesus (God the Son). I see Him as totally radical and breaking all tradition that would restrict LIFE from flowing from one member of His body to another. Sounds like you have amazing daughters! Grace & Peace, Cindye Coates Pastor Cindye Coates M.Div
Yeah! Definitely a Puritan and no Arminian, but not only. As far as I am concerned those who can Honestly confess Rom 10:9-11 are my brethren even tough we may not agree on some doctrinal points, for I am "fearful" the Lord will ask me (when face-to-face): "How much have you loved (Agape) your brethren, the ones I called to Myself?" Quaker & Jewish, now that is a good one, not to be believed, if it were not true. I must admit that you are quite a gal. My daughters are truly amazing, especially considering they are coming from an unbelieving family and a terribly sad divorce. My elder one, Cilla now 35, has turned out as the woman of Pro 31, praise God. She superbly manages 5 young kids, husband, home, and finds also time to help with the church's women problems. Methinks amazing. If you wish I can put you in contact with her, since you pray for France, she may have specific needs, she truly is a fair dinkum sheila. Praise the Lord. www.albatrus.org/english/church-order/women-matters/perfect_wife.htm Please Do pray for Italy: Population: about 56M "Evangelicals": less than 250K, steady or slowly decreasing JWs: more than 250K, and growing alleged RC: over 90%
