How the West was Lost!

"17 Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel you to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that you may be rich; and white raiment, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness do not appear; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent." (Rev 3:17-19)

The West is terribly weak and in deep decadence and going down fast, gone to the dogs, as it were. Basically it comes down to disbelief. NO nation lasts long without believing in something greater than itself, even in false gods, such as the religion of communism. The ‘gods’ of the West are: "money, sex, fame and power" but, even though these gods may give an apparently good natural life, they cannot sustain life itself. The West is doomed and the writing is clearly written on the wall for all to see: "MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN"  (you have been weighed in the balances and found wanting and God has brought your kingdom to an end). He that has an ear let him hear.

The fate of the Western civilization is strictly intertwined with the fate of Christianity. As the West rejects Christianity it also rejects itself, destituting itself of any spiritual belief and consequently natural power: in other words cutting its own power line.

Basically the West’s Achilles’ heel is indeed the very thing it exalts as its highest achievement, that Trojan horse called ‘Democracy’. What brought about democracy is a variegated gamut of factors, not the least that satanic conception of Evolution. Democracy is the direct offshoot of the French Revolution that ungodly concept that wanted to supplant Christianity with a humanistic system. But the French Revolution did not have in itself enough foundation to supplant the belief in God with the belief in man. This was provided about 100 years later by Evolution that made man a descendant of monkeys and life a product of time, chance and space. With Evolution man is reduced to a mere animal without spirit or soul and no afterlife. This was a very convenient situation for hedonistic man as the Nietzsche outcry "God is dead" freed him from the concept of sin which was done away and thus man was ‘liberated’ do revel in any sorts of debauchery without having to render account to any authority superior to himself since there was no afterlife, thus: "….. what advantages it me, if the dead are not resurrected, let us eat and drink; for tomorrow we die." (1Co 15:32)

The concept that life is only here and now provided the basis for all types of government to be based solely on Secularism which spawned into Democracy. Democracy is: "government of the people, by the people, for the people" and indeed God is completely excluded. Apropos secular Europe has produced a new constitution for itself which does not mention or even considers God and even the true fact that its roots have being implanted in Christianity is expressedly excluded. Interesting to note that the man charged to coordinate the production of this secular constitution is a Frenchman.

The first thing done under ‘democracy’ was to eliminate its foundational stone, Patriarchalism, for it represented the concept of father God on earth. This in effect destroyed the family as established by God’s ordinance and made it as just an assembly of people loosely related together. The family, as instituted by God since the beginning of time, has always being the strength of the nation and its strength was based of the male figure of the father. Having destroyed that, democracy has mined the foundation of the Western society which is now lost and without strength, as we can easily see in every side. Not only that, but the West is also in deep decadence as the direct result of doing away with fatherhood.

But let us look to more aspects of the legacy of Democracy

Abortion
Abortion is the most evil thing under the sun. Killing others by own initiative is a very bad thing and a serious sin but killing our own flesh and blood must the very worse action that a man can do to a fellow human being. Yet, we delight in it. Only a few months ago we have seen about one million women marching in Washington strongly protesting against a possible law amendment that would have slightly modify the abortion laws. There is no doubt that nations that practice this dastardly action are under the wrath of God, and the time of His reckoning is fast approaching. Should anyone that approves of abortion be in government?

Why is Abortion so appealing in the West? Because democratic people want to be free of responsibilities, to have fun and democracy provides that.

Homosexuality
Homosexuality is cancer to society. God commands that homosexuals be put to death least the land be polluted (defiled): If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (Leviticus 20:13) (Lev 18:25-27)

And if anyone complains that this was on the OT, the NT confirms it: Or do you not know that unjust ones will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be led astray, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor abusers, nor homosexuals, (1Co 6:9)

In these last days homosexuality is rampant and increasing exponentially. It is seen and approved everywhere, starting from the "Gay Pride" marches in the metropolitan cities of the world to TV shows and in churches and schools. It is so widespread that even the church is paralyzed by fear to speak against it in terror of being labeled 'non democratic' and anti-humane. In fact, it is democracy that has given a powerful stimulus to the irreversible growth of homosexuality and forcefully protects and defends it.

And the church is not immune to this demonic rot, now we even have protestant bishops openly declaring themselves homosexual. Recently in the American Episcopal church a divorced man with two children and openly declared homosexual has been appointed to the position of bishop, with all honours, no doubt more will follow. And woes and anathemas to you if you speak against this abomination: the media, the legal system and society and even the church are just too ready to crucify you for this "hate crime".

God says that if we do not get rid of homosexuality our land will be polluted, defiled and it will vomit out its inhabitants. Is the Western world polluted? Is nature rebelling? You judge.  (Leviticus 18:22-30)

Drugs and rebellious children
This is a sad one. It is said that a nation cannot survive two lost generations; the West has already lost one and the other one is on its way.

Divorce
God says: Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine by the sides of your house; your sons shall be like olive plants around your table. (Psalms 128:3) Is this so today? Methinks not with over 50% divorces.

The massive spread of divorce (not to mention de-facto breakdown, itself an evil thing) is a direct result of democracy with its egalitarian tenets.

Marriage is a covenant commitment instituted by God and based on a solemn indissoluble pact (not just a piece of paper) and not based on "sexual love" infatuation as the current society would want us to believe, urged on by the Hollywood romantic films. Obviously if we "fall in love" we can also "fall out of love" and easily exit a marriage based on this. Statistics show that people "fall in love" for 18 to 20 months then divorce. It is more difficult to get out of a solemn pact, as described in the Bible, than an infatuation.

Divorce currently runs about at 50% of new marriages, the church follow very closely and yet God says: "I hate divorce" in Malachi 3:6.

Marriage is the foundation of the family and the family is the building block of the nations. Destroy marriage and you have destroyed the nation. This is what has happened to the Roman Empire and it is happening all over the western world.

Now let us look at another masterstroke delivered by the evil one.

Feminism
The second most successful handiwork (after democracy) of Satan is feminism, the daughter of democracy.

Feminism is a total and open rebellion against God and man. Here are some relevant excerpts:

Anne Lori Gaylor: "Let's forget the myth of Jesus and let's turn towards the feminine salvation of the world".

Gloria Stimenn: "In the year 2000 we will grow, I hope, our children to believe in the human potential rather than God's".

Sheila Cronam: "Given that marriage is slavery for women, it is clear that the feministic institution must concentrate to attack the institution of marriage. Freedom for women cannot be won without the abolition of marriage".

Phillis Schlafly: "Feminists are not for equality, but want to kill all that is masculine".

The Declaration of Feminism says: "the end of marriage is necessary for the liberation of women; we are to return to the ancient female religions and magical arts".

The evil one, through democracy and feminism has effectively mentally castrated the men (the strength of the nation), and now even many ‘little pusillanimous men’ approve of this downgrade.

Having effectively abandoned Christianity, the West is devoid of any spiritual strength and consequently of any natural stamina. But more, the West is hard pressed by natural event all around its border, here are some examples identified by Patrick J. Buchanan:

• By freeing husbands, wives and children of family responsibilities, European socialists have eliminated the need for families. Consequently, families have begun to disappear. When they are gone, Europe goes with them.

• By 2050, only 10% of the world’s people will be of European descent. One third of Europe’s people will be over 60, and one-in-ten over 80.

• By 2050, 23 million Germans will have disappeared along with 16 million Italians and 30 million Russians.

• The population of Europe’s 47 nations from Iceland to Russia in 2000 was 728 million. At present birth rates, without immigration, that is expected to come crashing to 600 million by 2050. That forecast comes from a study by the United Nations. Still another analysis, reported by the London Times, has Europe’s population plummeting to 556 million by mid-century, a dive not seen since the Black Plague of 1347-52.

• Between now and 2050, Asia, Africa, and Latin America will grow by three to four billion as Europe will lose the equivalent of the entire population of Germany, Poland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland.

• In the States European-Americans are a minority in the most populous state, California, and by 2004, will be a minority in Texas. White Americans are fleeing California at the rate of 100,000 a year. There is even a plan to replace a statue of an American hero of the Mexican War with the Aztec god Quetzacoatl.

• The Mexican population is exploding and no doubt it will spill over into the United States.  In Europe they have huge invasions from Africa and the East.  A British general expert in the matter compares these invasion to those barbaric in the last days of Roman Empire. 

• The Islamic invasions of Spain and France in the eighth century, and of the Balkans and Central Europe from the 14th to the 17th centuries will be re-enacted in the lifetime of most of those now living. Islam has already surpassed Catholicism as the largest religion on earth.

• The West is invaded already by scores of Islamic that build Arabic schools and Mosques all over its nations spreading their culture within the west, a nation within a nation with the intention to eventually taking over, no doubt.

• It is the Christian nations -- Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox -- that have begun to die. It is unlikely the West can solve the demographic crisis before it leads to The Death of the West.

• The history books of Western public schools are being rewritten with the old heroes ignored or trashed and Western civilization disparaged and demeaned.

• Secular Humanism, widely mocked and disparaged, a few decades ago, is now the dominant faith of the nations’ cultural elites. The moral tenets of humanism are replacing those of Christianity in our public life.

• Even Christian churches are rewriting their hymnals to make them acceptable to the dominant secular culture.

Truly the chances of the West to survive this two-pronged onslaught: spiritual and moral disintegration from within and population invasion from without are very slim indeed, if any, in the natural. These are painful echoes of the last days of the Roman Empire, ICHABOD.

The only hope the West has is to repent and humbly return to the Lord: "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (2Ch 7:14)

Is this likely?  Only God knows!
