Family & Marriage

  Sex Before Marriage   (38 KB)
Marriage [is] honourable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge fornicators and adulterers. (Hebrews 13:4LIT)

Extramarital Sex Hazardous to Health?   (29 KB)
Graham Jackson, a heart specialist at St. Thomas's Hospital in London, found couples in long-term relationships were far less likely to have heart attacks while having sex than those having affairs or one-night stands.

Married Women Enjoy Best Sex   (29 KB)
Two thirds of married women say the best sex they've had is with their husband, compared to 13 percent who say it was when they were single and just 9 percent when having an affair, a survey by British health magazine Top Sante said.

  The Family   (55 KB)
The family is founded on marriage, which is the gift of God to reveal the union between Christ and His Church. The husband loves (agape) his wife as Christ loves (agape) the church. The husband has the responsibility, given by God, to provide, protect and govern his family. The wife, graciously submit to the leadership of her husband as the church voluntarily submits to the direction of Christ. The wife has the responsibility, given by God, to respect (phoebe) her husband and to serve, as his helper, in managing the family and to nurture the next generation.

The Planned Destruction of the Family   (43 KB)
The government’s war against men is now plumbing ever more astonishing depths....men are being demonised as intrinsic rapists, wife beaters and child abusers as part of a broader agenda. It is nothing less than an aim to destroy the married family, cripple ‘male power’ by emasculating men’s role and undermine masculinity itself.

  Return to Patriarchy
Across the globe, people are choosing to have fewer children or none at all. Governments are desperate to halt the trend, but their influence seems to stop at the bedroom door. Are some societies destined to become extinct? Hardly. It’s more likely that conservatives will inherit the Earth. Like it or not, a growing proportion of the next generation will be born into families who believe that father knows best.

  A Wedding   (49 KB)
It is interesting to note that we educate our children in all sort of secular subjects, but not in the most important one, Marriage. But the Word of God has a lot to say on this very important topic.

Seek Wife!!! - This What Bible Says   (32 KB)
Verses

Attributes of a Good Wife   (36 KB)
These requirements are ALL strictly Biblical, remembering that the woman was made for the need of man and not the other way round: "And the LORD God said, [It is] not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. "(Gen 2:18) "Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man."(1Co 11:9)

Death of Marriage and Western Society   (49 KB)
God has ordained marriage as a lifelong union of a man and a woman. This foundational principle was first articulated biblically in Gen 2:24. Later, Jesus set forth His basic position on marriage by bringing together two important passages from Gen 1:27; 2:7-25. He pointed to the completion of the creation: "male and female he created them "thus defining what marriage is. Then He described marriage as a relationship, a union, so intimate and real that "the two become one flesh. "Finally, Jesus reiterated and emphasised that true marriage was God-made and lifelong.

Do Bastards Still Exist?   (41 KB)
The word "bastard" can refer to a child whose father is not known, as well as to a child whose parents are known but not married to each other. Thus a ‘bastard’ is a child whose parents were not lawfully married to each other at the time of his birth.

  Fellowship vs. Relationship   (42 KB)
Generally there is not a clear understanding between what Fellowship is and what Relationship is.  The Dictionary definition is as follows:

  One Flesh   (57 KB)
The account of the making of the first human beings in Genesis is that God created Adam (the man) out of dust in the image of God and gave him life through the breath of God. Then God had Adam name all the animals but a suitable help meet for him was not found amongst them, so God put Adam to sleep and extracted from him one of his ribs. From this rib God formed (in a way cloned) Eve and presented her to Adam as his suitable help meet. Gen 2:18-21.
Adam knew that, either by witnessing or by divine revelation, for he exclaimed: “And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” (Gen 2:23) and he called her wo-man, which means “from man”. Further down Adam states that “they shall be one flesh” which indeed it was true for in fact Eve was of the same flesh of Adam being extracted from him. Jesus himself confirm this state of things between husband and wife as if they were so closely related between each other as Adam and Eve, i.e. “one flesh” (Mar 10:8) and no man is to separate whom God has joined together, “put asunder”.

Children in Admonition of the Lord   (46 KB)
At the 2002 annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention, the Southern Baptist Council on Family Life reported that an alarming 88 percent of children raised in evangelical homes leave church at the age of 18, never to return.  So much for the Arminian views for if the children were truly born again they would not depart from God but would seek Him in earnest.

Raising Up Righteous Children   (37 KB)
The trend in our modern western society is not to chastise our children for the modernist liberal says “it is barbarous”. But the Bible is totally against that.
Indeed we see all around what kind of rebellious and disrespectful children this modern democratic society is raising up and one day these kids will be unrighteous adults.
