The Tolerance Conspiracysupplied by Lien of OZ Tolerance is the new ‘mantra’ of secular governance. It has been elevated as the paramount virtue of society. Intolerance is thus deemed the major sin of bigots, illogical racists and fundamentalists. According to the United Nations (UNESCO) "Declaration of Principles on Tolerance" — intolerance is a global threat— as it is exhibited by resurgent nationalism, the growth of fundamentalism and religious intolerance. This UNESCO Declaration was drafted at its 28th General Conference in Paris over 25 Oct. to 16 Nov. 1995. In it, member states are asked to adhere to, address and legislate to confirm to 6 main articles which: 1) define tolerance, 2) propose state (National) legislation, 3) demand social implementation, 4) national and community educational programming, 5) plan commitment to action and 6) institute (Nov. 16) for the observation of an International Day of Tolerance. In a brief summary, this UNESCO Declaration defines tolerance as respect for, acceptance of and appreciation of diverse cultures[ incl. Lifestyle]. Calls for the affirmation of pluralism, human rights and the rejection of any (all) forms of dogmatism or absolutism that may involve the imposition of one’s own views upon others. Tolerance is to be regarded as a moral duty, a political and legal requirement. Tolerant societies are to be achieved by (legislated) ratification of UN human rights covenants relating to any (and all) forms of discrimination pertaining to women, race, religion and rights concerning children, refugees and educational issues. The Universal Declaration of Human rights, articles 18,19 & 26, for instance, respectively, call for rights to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; opinion and/or expression; the promotion of understanding, tolerance and friendship between nations, races and religions. Tolerance is to be promoted through schools and other educational institutions, home, workplace and the media. Emphasis is to be given to the resultant dangers implicit in the rise of intolerant groups or ideologies. Cross cultural/International social science studies are to undertaken to identify root causes of intolerance and to devise countermeasures. The objectives of rational tolerance teaching are to address cultural social, economic, political and (in particular) religious sources of intolerance. The latter is identified as a major source of exclusivity and potential for violence. Member states (Nations) are to pledge support for and to implement social science and educational programs. Sponsorship of ‘universal tolerance’ of the kind outlined prescribes a purposeful ‘social engineering’ agenda backed by legislation for changing community attitudes. Further emphasis derives when ‘media moguls’ identify ‘tolerance’ (likewise pluralism) as ‘The One True Faith’ *. When thus defined, any monotheistic religion, claiming any kind of exclusivity then becomes an enemy of tolerance; namely, Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Other journalists assert that "The Real War" in the world today is the battle against ‘religious totalitarianism’ identifying those who reckon that ‘my faith must remain supreme.’#* Thomas Cahill; NY Times 3 Jan. 02 and # Thomas Friedman; NY Times, 27 Nov. 01.These kinds of authors are quick to popularize a ‘politically correct’ revision of history (e.g. Hinges of History) that identifies all past atrocities, as promulgated throughout Western Christendom as fundamentalism and even akin to terrorism. Such comment carries the implied nuance that: - "if you (dare to) take your Biblical faith at all seriously, then you are an enemy of tolerance." Media authors credit liberal contemporary Christianity with acknowledging past hostilities and of presently embracing cultural tolerance as a principle virtue. Media journalist generally fail to appreciate that Biblical Christianity does not call (has never called) for any collective for re-organizing society as a whole but rather presents (or offers) the way for each individual to change their personality and life’s destiny. The true Church, as the ‘body of believers’ in Christ, exhibits a different kind of faith and love, for each fellow hu-man. A confident faith that asserts individually and collectively, that Jesus remains the way, the truth and the life and that access to the Father (God) is through Him (Jesus) alone. Not that belief in Jesus is simply one way or one truth from a choice of many, or just one lifestyle, of equal value, from a diverse menu. The fundamental chasm between (post-modern) secular tolerance (even that embraced by cultural Christianity) and Biblical faith can be spanned but only on a one way bridge. Biblical doctrines such espoused by 2Co 2:14-16:- "Christ always leads us in triumph, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of Him every where. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved from amongst those who are perishing, to one the fragrance of death to death and to the other a fragrance of life to life" , are rarely found imprinted in the pages of the daily press or voiced on the TV screen. A great transition, particularly in the Western world, has almost completed its downward collapse. This corresponds to the downward spiral from trust in God, through (enlightened) humanistic confidence in man, to a renewed allegiance to tribal consensus, as demanded by the ‘global state’ and/or the ‘new age’ universal spirit. The respect for and acceptance of, all and any, (religious) spirituality, and or lifestyle which now infects the secular world systems, even cultural Christian institutions, is very much like the Gnostic heresies which began to corrupt the initial expansion of Christian belief. Biblical believers acknowledge that "In Christ" people from every tribe, nation (and culture) can be one and able to adhere to a common world value system. Yet this is far too discriminatory, narrow and intolerant and thus, unacceptable to an increasingly global perspective. (c.f. Rom 10:12; Gal 3:28; Rev 14:6; 15:4 etc) It is STILL the will of God that sin be exposed, confessed, repented-of, forgiven or judged...not tolerated for the sake of peace and unity. (Ephesians 5:11) "Tolerance" is not the Gospel of Christ. Rather it is a tactical tool of ambitious men who dream of separating us from our Anchor Stone so we will drift away from "the peace of God which passes all understanding" into a camouflaged chaos called Globalism.
